With the campaign kicking off this summer, it will bring ELCMDM staff, board members, and community partners together to ignite a passion for reading in young children across the Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

Throughout the campaign, ELCMDM will feature engaging Q&A videos with trusted community partners who will share practical tips and expert advice on nurturing early literacy. Families are also invited to attend exciting local events filled with books, playtime, and interactive activities that encourage learning through joy.

“When we invest in early literacy, we invest in our children’s potential,” said President and CEO of the ELCMDM, Evelio Torres. “This campaign is a call to action for families, educators, and the community to come together and spark a love of reading that will shape a child’s future.”
