Early Learning Educators Bonus and Grant Program
The Division of Early Learning is investing its American Rescue Plan Act (APRA) dollars in the Build a World Class Workforce Grants. Funds are being positioned through multiple stipend and grant opportunities to recruit and elevate a world class early learning workforce.
All bonuses and grant opportunities will be listed on this page as they become available, along with the trainings and webinars corresponding to those opportunities.

Grants Currently Available
Only staff hired on or after July 1, 2022, will be eligible for these two bonuses.
- Recruitment Bonus: Early Learning Educators may apply for a $500 recruitment bonus upon completion of background screening and at least 120 hours of employment.
- Health and Safety Bonus: Early Learning Educators may apply for a $700 bonus upon completion of one of the required health & safety training from the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
