Title: QRIS Navigator

Location: Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Coral Gables Office
Job Function: QRIS Navigator is responsible for coordinating systems workflow activities leading to Star Rating for Quality Counts participating providers. The Navigator is the main link for the provider from application/selection through self-study, access of supports and yearly renewal. Specific duties are the determination of provider eligibility to enter the QRIS system and to facilitate successful completion of process activities in a complete and timely manner.
Experience and Relevant Training Credentials:
- Associates Degree in business, childcare management or related field, Bachelors strongly preferred. (5 years of experience in an administrative setting may be substituted for education)
- 1-2 years experience in childcare or other administrative settingyears of experience in the early learning field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel
- Experience supporting and implementing database systems.
- Valid Florida Drivers License

Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop and demonstrate awareness of Quality Counts and the mechanics of the process
- Develop and demonstrate a knowledge of adult learning styles and the ability to engage adult learners in the Quality Counts experience
- Develop and demonstrate the ability to utilize all technology associated with Quality Counts including but not limited to: WELS database (Prism pivot reporting, Provider Portal, Program Management Tool, and Workforce Registry database.
- Coordinate all Quality Counts participants’ workflow activities: selection, self-study, support, renewal and star rating activity
- Deliver training (in a variety of formats: in person, webinar, etc.) on all activities relating to Quality Counts workflow systems to participating providers
- Verify information in providers’ applications and self-studies
- Generate Baseline Ratings, Star Ratings and Star Rating Certificates
- Assist in creating reports based on data collection
- Maintains database security, integrity and availability to management.
- Collaborates with management on special projects
- Knowledge of Early Childhood needs a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse population
- Ability to work independently and organize activities essential to the position
