Job Function: The Implementation Coordinator supports Quality Counts program managers and field staff with activities pertaining to baseline and star rating, implementation workflow, quality improvement and accreditation facilitation. The Coordinator is responsible for technical assistance and training for field staff (technical assistants and career advisors) on issues related to QRIS and evidence based early childhood methodology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the Implementation Manager in all areas pertaining to QRIS implementation and workflow
- Generates baseline and star ratings of Quality Counts programs
- Coordinates all workflow activities (guided by the Project Management Tool) to ensure smooth progress through the system in relation to baseline, renewal, assessment and awards activities.
- Provide technical assistance to Quality Counts systems managers and field staff and early care and education programs in areas including but not limited to: program accreditation, current research and best practice
- Provides technical assistance to all systems partners to improve workflow and implementation efforts
- Provides technical assistance to field staff (Quality Counts coaches and career advisors) in such areas as Quality Counts standards, DCF Licensing, ERS Scales and evidence based practice relating to quality improvement and accreditation
- Works to continuously enhance the array of materials and services available for Quality Counts supports
- Supports the fiscal analyst with the maintenance of the WELS shopping cart
- Develops and maintains communication with Quality Counts systems partners:, Assessment, Data, Head Start/Early Head Start, MDCPS, RCMS., program managers and field Staff
- Interfaces with all multi levels of the Quality Counts system including stakeholders, program managers and field staff
- Maintains ongoing knowledge of QRIS systems and Program Accreditation. at the state and local level
- Assists with the ongoing evaluation and development of the QRIS system in order to remain current with best practice application and the diverse needs of Miami-Dade’s inclusive QRIS system
- Possesses keen organizational ability
- Creates and develops visual presentations to deliver trainings and workshops
- Excellent grammar, writing skills, and a firm command of the English language, written and verbal
- Gather and analyze information and develop written materials about various topics relating to early care and education and other rating system
- Coordinates and communicates with ELC staff to ensure QRIS alignment with other relevant ELC funded initiatives
- Follow federal and state laws, in addition to implementing programs, policies and procedures in accordance with Early Learning Coalition
- Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Training:
- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor degree in, Early Childhood, Elementary Education or related field.
- Must have at least 3 years of related experience preferably in early care and education programs, with a foundation as a classroom teacher or curriculum specialist.
- Knowledge of community resources related to the needs of young children
- Considerable knowledge of Early Childhood program accreditation processes
- Considerable knowledge of early childhood methodology and classroom practice
- Training, education and/or experience may be substituted for certain minimum qualifications
