Transition to Kindergarten
A quality transition to kindergarten process values the role of families, teachers, administrators and most importantly the child.
Here are some tips to help the families in your program have a successful transition to kindergarten:
- Identify the schools that families will be attending in the fall
- Reach out to these schools and find out if there are scheduled orientation, registration dates, open house, etc. Registration begins April 2.
- Provide families with a list of registration requirements
